Wake County Lifts Mask Mandates

Wake County and Raleigh leaders announced last week that mask mandates will be coming to an end on February 25th. Governor Cooper is also encouraging local governments and school boards to end their mandates as well. As of today, all Wake County cities do not have a mask mandate.

Mask mandates in Wake County Schools will also be coming to an end on March 7th. This will make masks optional for students and staff. Durham and Orange County have voted to keep their mandates in place for now. Johnston County had already voted to end mandates in their schools back on Feb. 21st.
